Community Guidelines

Don't be rude, obnoxious, toxic, condescending, or an all-around ding dong. Treat other users the way you'd want to be treated.

No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other form of discrimination. The map is for everyone, and that's not negotiable.

No picking fights, verbally attacking, sexually harassing, or singling out others. Disagree with a review? Share your own experience. Disagree with a person? Walk away.

Stay on-topic. Don't flood reviews, location descriptions, trip plans, or comments with low-effort posts, repetitive content, or junk.

Don't post or link to hateful material, sexual or pornographic material, violent, graphic, or vulgar content, pirated content, or anything illegal or otherwise unethical. If it wouldn't be appropriate at a family-friendly visitor center, it's probably not appropriate here.

Reviews, ratings, and descriptions should reflect your real experience. Don't post misleading information. If a place has changed since your last visit, say so.

Locations you post are public, but the people in and around them aren't. Don't share someone's private address, photos of people who haven't agreed to be photographed, or any other personal information without their consent.

Only post photos, descriptions, and media you have the right to share. If it isn't yours and you don't have permission, leave it off the map.

No self-promotion, affiliate links, or cross-promotion of other services or communities. We can't verify the safety of external destinations, so we'd rather not lure anyone into a place we haven't vetted.

Don't argue about the rules. Don't argue about moderator or administrator decisions in public. If you think a decision was wrong, use the ban appeal process.

If you spot content or behaviour that violates these guidelines, use the report button on the relevant review or location. It goes straight to the moderation team. You can also track the status of your reports under your reports.

The above rules aren't all-encompassing. Just because something isn't listed here doesn't mean it's allowed. If these guidelines aren't detailed enough for you to behave like a decent human, you may be happier somewhere else. Repeatedly breaking the rules will result in a permanent ban.

In the end, just remember that everyone here is just trying to share cool places, plan good trips, and be decent bebs. If that doesn't sound neat, there are plenty of other communities out there that may be more fitting for you.
